The College of Orientation & Mobility relies on funding from private individuals and companies to continue their work. This division of GDA is ideally positioned for corporates wishing to fund us, as they can score BB BEE points on their scorecard through CSI giving and donations. A high proportion of our beneficiaries come from poor, disadvantaged communities, therefore maximum points can be scored on the social development section of their scorecards.

The six students studying at the college from 5 January 2015, funded mostly by the S A Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind, will have part-funding by the Vodacom Change The World Foundation and the Mpumalanga Department of Health. There is, however, a large deficit which is currently covered by the S A Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind.

Please complete the enquiry form should you wish to receive a formal proposal or more information regarding donating towards the College of Orientation & Mobility. Any donation that you could offer will go directly to supporting an individual learner on this diploma course , to cover the cost of their:

  • accommodation
  • food
  • travel
  • training materials.
