Focusing on vision impairment for World Sight Day 2014
World Sight Day 2014, October 9 focuses on drawing attention to blindness and vision impairment. In low and middle countries alone 180 million children would benefit from vision correction. The impact of this on education outcomes is profound, poor child vision excludes children from learning and taking full advantage of what may be their only opportunity to participate in school.
