Fundraise for us

Make a meaningful difference by raising funds to give people with disabilities and children with autism life-changing independence, mobility, and companionship.

We believe in fundraising with a sense of fun. There are several ways to be involved, from sponsoring one of our annual events to running a feel-good fundraising project at work. We are a registered Non-profit Organisation and Public Benefit Organisation, and we issue 18A tax certificates for all donations received. Align with one of South Africa’s most-loved and respected causes, and create a sense of fun and meaning in work and life.

Gift people with disabilities and children with autism life-changing independence, mobility, and companionship by getting involved in fundraising.

Here are some of the ways you can make a meaningful contribution:

Support events

  • Become a headline sponsor at one of our South African Guide Dogs Association events and get widespread positive exposure for your business
  • Contribute prizes, we welcome any suitable giveaways
  • Our events include: Blind Gala Dinners, Charity Golf Days, Dogs Unite for International Guide Dogs Day, Family Fun Day, Ladies Tea and more

Set up a cause-related campaign

  • Donate a small percentage of each sale of a specific product
  • This builds a positive public perception of your products or services and can increase your sales

Fundraise at a sports event

  • Create a team for a cause and participate in sporting events such as the Discovery 947 Ride Joburg, Cape Town Cycle Tour or Sanlam Cape Town Marathon

Bring fun and fundraising into the office

  • Sell car raffle tickets for our Car Raffle Competition
  • Initiate your own fundraising project within your company
  • Set up a payroll giving programme to donate towards South African Guide-Dogs Association via a small salary gift on a monthly basis (from a little as R10 per month)
  • Sponsor an assistance dog
  • Donate products in kind such as office equipment or office furniture

We are a registered Non-profit Organisation and Public Benefit Organisation, and we issue 18A tax certificates for all donations received.
